The Empress ParaEq is designed to be a tool for sweetening the tone of any instrument. We’ve designed the Empress ParaEq to give musicians a powerful, musical, high-quality EQ in a conveniently small package. The signal path of the ParaEq is comprised of the highest quality components chosen for their transparency, powerful tone shaping capabilities, and low operating noise.

- Ultra-quiet - if you put this at the front of your chain and boost a bit you’ll also cut down on the noise your other pedals are introducing
- Loads of headroom – operates internally from a 27V power supply – similar to rack-mount equipment
- +30 dB of boost make it an ideal candidate before long effects chains and overdriving tube amps
- Pristine clean sound - distortion less than 0.05%
- True bypass so you can be sure that it's not affecting the signal when disengaged
- Top mounted jacks make it extra convenient to integrate
- Baxandall shelving filters allow you to effortlessly sweeten your tone with beautiful sounding, super smooth filters for a broad high and low frequency adjustment
- 12 dB/oct high and low pass filters to cut all the noise out of the spaces where your instruments frequency spectrum does not exist
